As part of its exploration activities, PGE has completed geological and geophysical surveys and has identified several points that have the potential to become exploration well locations. In 2016 PGE signed a Shareholder Agreement with the Aceh Regional Development Company (PDPA/BUMD Aceh) for the development of the Seulawah geothermal prospect, in Aceh Besar District, Aceh Province.
