JAKARTA - "With the synergy and solid cooperation of all PGE employees both in the area and project, we are confident that we can achieve everything that has been targeted by the company," said PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) President Director Ali Mundakir when opening the Coordination Meeting the function of Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina PGE at Oria Hotel, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (3/22/2019).
Ali Mundakir hopes that this Coordination Meeting will become a means to unite the steps, synergize the program so that it can support the achievement of PROPER in 2019, especially to maintain the 9th consecutive Gold PROPER. In addition, program programs involving relations with stakeholders both in the area and on projects that will be onstream this year need to be thoroughly discussed.
"So we will discuss all the strategic issues related to the main stakeholders. Thus, the function of the Corporate Secretary is that we expect to be able to support the target set by PT Pertamina (Persero) in 2019," Ali continued.
The two-day coordination meeting was also filled with sharing sessions about building good relations with the media and utilizing social media as one of the company's communication channels to stakeholders.
PT Pertamina (Persero) Alih Istik Wahyuni's Senior Media Relations Officer on the occasion explained that in the current era of digitalization, we must be able to keep up with these developments and be able to utilize social media platforms as a means of spreading positive news to the public.
"In 2019 Pertamina has a communication strategy with the theme" Move on ", a concept of migrating towards better conditions, this concerns all Pertamina activities from upstream to downstream, in an effort to change people's perceptions of Pertamina which continues to improve," Alih said.
Alih also provides tips on establishing communication between companies and the media. "Get to know the various characters of media friends, and don't be bored to continue to educate them about the company's business," concluded Alih.
