INTRODUCING GEOTHERMAL, PERWIRA PGE AREA MOSS TEACHING CENTER AT SDN 128 OKU

LUMUT BALAI - PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Area Lumut Balai again conducted the PGE Goes to Community (PGTC) activity for SDN 128 OKU students, Wednesday (18/11).

The activities packaged in this teaching and learning event were carried out by representatives of the PGE Operations, Public Relations and HSSE Team which consisted of 8 people. Previously the team had carried out a rapid test to ensure that their condition was healthy and non-reactive to Covid-19.

The event which was held at SDN 128 OKU was attended by 92 grade 5 and 6 students. Principal of SDN 128 OKU Yanani, SpD. SD, was very happy and enthusiastic in receiving a visit from the PGTC team.

"Thanks to PGE Lumut Balai Area, we hope that this activity is useful for schools and this activity can be carried out again in the following years," said Yanani.

PGTC events are also filled with interactive sessions and games. In closing this activity, the handover of school bag packages and comic books about geothermal was carried out.

Priatna Budiman as Acting. General Manager Lumut Balai supports the activities carried out by the PGTC team.

"Always enthusiasm and success for all teams, hopefully this activity can be useful in the midst of a pandemic situation," he said.

The Lumut Balai PGE Area is located in the Lumut Balai and Margabayur Geothermal Working Areas (WKP), South Sumatra Province which has been operating commercially in 2020. The total installed capacity currently is 55 MW.
