MEVENT: PGE Innovations Prevent Transmission of the COVID-19

Jakarta - The government has stated that until now the number of positive confirmation cases of the COVID-19 virus is increasing day by day so that the public is still being asked to be aware of its spread. the COVID-19 virus in all PGE environments, from the head office to the areas and projects.

Anticipation is being made to prevent this. PGE has formed a COVID-19 handling task force and also provided a MEVENT digital application.

This MEVENT application is a PGE innovation to map PGE workers because it is based on live location, so workers who attend attendance can be monitored according to their work status whether Work From Home (WFH) or Work From Office (WFO).

All workers are required to check in based on their work location when filling absences every day both weekdays and holidays in the morning and evening.

Map of the spread of the COVID-19 Virus in the MEVENT application has also been integrated with data owned by governments throughout Indonesia to the village level (one map COVID-19).

So that information related to the development of areas exposed to the COVID-19 Virus in the surrounding environment and also information on the closest referral hospitals throughout Indonesia can be accessed in real time.

With the MEVENT application, PGE has prepared itself to provide the right solution in the midst of an outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic during the adaptation of new habits.

PGE Corporate Secretary Mindaryoko hopes that this MEVENT application can support efforts to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Virus in the PGE environment.

"With this MEVENT application, workers can anticipate in their respective environments and also if they have to travel outside the house. This application hopefully can encourage workers to be more aware of the importance of being aware of the dangers of COVID-19 and to apply consistently the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS), in addition to continuing to prioritize health protocols established by the Government. Because PGE workers have the duty and responsibility to continue to support and maintain the continuity of energy supply by Pertamina in all parts of Indonesia. " Said Mindaryoko.

PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy is an affiliate of PT Pertamina (Persero) which is engaged in geothermal exploitation.

PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy already has 5 areas and also 5 projects spread throughout Indonesia with a total generating capacity of 672 MW.
