PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO) set a new record in the 2025 Annual Pertamina Quality (APQ) Award by winning four Platinum awards at once. This achievement confirms PGE's commitment to operational quality and sustainable innovation in the green energy sector.
In this annual event, the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero), Mochamad Iriawan, expressed his appreciation for the innovation that continues to be developed by Pertamina Officers.
"We, the board of commissioners, will continue to support and oversee Pertamina's development in the future. Innovation and hard work of all officers are the main foundations for making Pertamina a national energy company that is respected on the global stage," he said.
The four PGE clusters that successfully won the Platinum award include:
1.? ?Project Collaboration (PC) Prove Geoflowtest
2.? ?Function Team (FT) Prove COLAB
3.? ?Project Collaboration (PC) Prove Power Rangers
4.? ?Function Team (FT) Prove Lab Rocker
In addition to successfully winning four Platinums, PGE also won other awards:
•? ?1st place in the Sustainability Excellence category (PGE Area Kamojang)
•? ?3rd place in the Most Productive CIP’er category
•? ?3rd place in the Best KOMET Influencer category
•? ?3rd place in the Best System Assurance category.
PGE President Director Julfi Hadi, proudly expressed his appreciation for this extraordinary achievement.

The Platinum achievement for Prove Geoflowtest is even more special because this innovation has also just received a Simple Patent Certificate from the Indonesian Ministry of Law in March 2025. This patent was granted for the invention of a portable device that allows real-time geothermal well production testing. This patent is valid for the next 10 years.
Meanwhile, PGE Area Kamojang successfully won 1st Place in The Sustainability Excellence with one of its flagship programs, the Rangers App. Rangers App Innovation is a technology-based community empowerment program that supports the achievement of PROPER EMAS PGE Area Kamojang in 2023. This application offers various solutions for the Kamojang community such as:

About APQ Awards
APQ Awards is an annual event organized by the Quality Management System (QMS) function of PT Pertamina (Persero) as a form of appreciation for the implementation of the four pillars of Quality Management, namely QMA (Quality Management Assessment), SM (Management System), KOMET (Knowledge Management), and CIP (Continuous Improvement Program).
This year marks the 15th event since the APQ Awards were first held in 2010. With the theme "Sustainable Innovation for Nusantara's Energy Resilience", the 2025 APQ Awards were attended by more than 180 innovation clusters from all Pertamina Group operating units, with a total participation of more than 1,200 Pertamina Officers.
Overall, the 2025 APQ Awards awarded 180 CIP initiatives, 8 APQ Category Awards, and 1 Best of the Best Award. It is hoped that through this event, a culture of sustainable innovation will become more ingrained in all Pertamina business lines for the sake of sustainable value creation for the nation and the environment.
