PTH President Director of Pertamina Geothermal Energy, Tafif Azimudin, inaugurated a virtual HSSE Demo Room on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
The inauguration activity is part of the opening of the National K3 Month in Subholding Power and Renewable Energy (PNRE).
Tafif stated that PGE's HSSE performance was very good, the achievement had exceeded the KPI target. HSSE Demo Room Kamojang Area is the first Demo Room and is a concrete manifestation of PGE's efforts to improve / socialize the HSSE aspect not only for workers, but contractors, as well as guests considering that Kamojang is frequently visited by guests.
On this occasion, Tafif also reminded the importance of maintaining the implementation of health protocols during this pandemic.

On this occasion also attended the Kamojang Area General Manager, Dradjat Budi Hartanto.
In his remarks Dradjat said: "The HSSE Demo Room is a room that we have prepared as a place to demonstrate / visualize the HSSE management and regulations / provisions that apply in Pertamina, especially the PGE Kamojang Area such as the HSSE Golden Rules (Obey, Intervention, Care) and Corporate Life Saving Rules (CLSR) ”.
HSSE Demo Room will be used for workers / work partners / contractors / guests who will have activities in the Kamojang area, added Dradjat.
The event continued with the delivery of health talk material about the COVID-19 Vaccine BY Dr. dr. Fatherma Djan Rachmat, Sp. B, Sp. BTKV (K), MPH as the President Director of Petamedika IHC.
The participants were very enthusiastic as seen from the many questions submitted to the moderator.
The K3 Month itself is one of a series of activities to promote the HSSE culture in all Pertamina work areas.
The National K3 Month is carried out as an implementation of the provisions of Law no. 1 of 1970 to encourage a national movement to cultivate K3 in a sustainable manner.
The K3 Month Celebration is held every 12 January - 12 February every year. For 2021, the theme of the National K3 Month is "Strengthening Superior Human Resources and K3 Cultured in All Business Sectors", this theme is based on Kepmenaker No. 365 of 2020 concerning the Guidelines for the Implementation of the National K3 Month in 2021.
The PGE Kamojang Area develops clean geothermal energy with an installed capacity of 235 MW, which is channeled to the Java - Bali Electricity Transmission Network.
The total potential emission reduction from the total installed capacity is 1.2 million tonnes of CO2 per year.
