SOUTH TANGERANG - PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy ("PGE") participated in the 2019 Upstream Forum event organized by the Upstream Directorate of PT Pertamina (Persero), at ICE-BSD, South Tangerang, (20-22 / 11).
The 2019 Upstream Forum is an event that combines two major activities at the Pertamina Upstream Directorate which in the previous year were the Upstream Technology Sharing Forum (FSTH) and the Upstream Innovation & Improvement Awards (UIIA).The 2019 Upstream Forum was attended by Pertamina's Commissioner, Pertamina's Upstream Director Dharmawan H. Samsu, the Board of Directors of the Upstream Subsidiaries, as well as the CIP & FSTH Teams from each Pertamina subsidiary incorporated in the Upstream Directorate.
The theme carried at the 2019 Upstream Forum this time was "Pushing Resources Progression Through Technology Innovation and Improvement for Sustainability".
The purpose of PGE's participation in this event is to maintain and continue to improve the culture of continuous improvement at PGE through awards and innovation competitions at the Pertamina Upstream Directorate level.
In this activity, PGE Managing Director Ali Mundakir also conducted a soft launching of the book Geothermal: Beyond Energy.During the 4 days of implementation, the PGE delegation was divided into two FSTH and UIIA competitions, each represented by 24 FSTH Teams and 9 UIIA Teams.
All participants took part in a series of activities namely Technical Meeting, Interview and Presentation.At the SFTH, PGE won the Best Poster II, The Best FT Prove II and The Best I-Prove II awards.
In the UIIA PGE competition, they won 4 Platinum and 5 Gold awards as follows:1. CIP Award Platinum Category - IP MAXWELL 32. Platinum CIP Award - PCP I-PGE3. Platinum CIP Award - FTP WT & I4. Platinum CIP Award - PCP TAX RANGERS5. CIP Award Gold Category - ORIGINAL FTP6. CIP Award Gold Category - FTP LAPAN ANAM7. CIP Award Gold Category - FTP SILICA8. CIP Award Category Gold - PCP FLY HIGH9. CIP Award Category Gold - RTP JPO
"A series of awards won by PGE at this event is evidence that PGE continues to innovate and continue to promote a culture of continuous improvement," Ali said in his interview with Pertamina Media.On that occasion, Ali Mundakir was also present as a guest speaker in the first day panel discussion session with the theme "Self Financing Project Strategy in Upstream" and the third day panel discussion session with the theme "Vision for the Future Pertamina Upstream in Operation".
