PGE Sibayak Area Shares Love with Children with Disabilities, Celebrating Christmas in Simplicity

Kabanjahe, North Sumatra – PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO) Sibayak Area, in collaboration with the Alpha Omega Kabanjahe Foundation, shared togetherness with children with disabilities to celebrate the meaning of Christmas 2025. Held at the GBKP Alpha Omega Disability Welfare Foundation (YKPD), Karo Regency, North Sumatra, on Monday, December 22, 2025, this year's Christmas carried the theme "God is Present to Save Families."

Through the Christian Spiritual Body (BAKORUMKRIS) of PGE Sibayak Area, this year's Christmas was celebrated in simplicity, as a manifestation of the meaning of Christmas filled with love, care, and togetherness, especially for children with disabilities.

The Christmas service was led by Pastor Monalisa Ginting, who is also the Chairperson of the GBKP Alpha Omega YKPD. In his sermon, he invited the entire congregation to appreciate God's presence as a source of real hope and love, and encouraged every family and community to continue to show care and acceptance for others.

The event was attended by dozens of children with disabilities, foundation administrators, representatives of PGE Sibayak Area management and employees, the Village Head of Semangat Gunung, and representatives from PT Dizamatra. The presence of these various stakeholders reflected the spirit of togetherness and synergy in building social awareness in Karo Regency.

In addition to holding Christmas services, PGE Sibayak Area also distributed donations to children with disabilities as a demonstration of the company's concern and commitment to supporting the social welfare of the communities surrounding its operations.

Indra Mantik Oentara, Head of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk Sibayak Area, emphasized that this simple Christmas celebration served as a reminder of the true essence of Christmas.

"Through this Christmas celebration, PGE Sibayak Area wants to convey the true meaning of Christmas: sharing love and care, especially for children with disabilities. We hope that our presence and the donations we provide will bring joy and encouragement to the children and the extended family of YKPD GBKP Alpha Omega," said Indra.

Furthermore, Indra stated that PGE Sibayak Area is committed to continuously fostering the values ??of empathy, inclusivity, and social care as part of its corporate culture, in line with its efforts to provide clean and sustainable geothermal energy to Indonesia.

Through this Christmas celebration, PGE Sibayak Area hopes that the spirit of love and simplicity will continue to inspire all company personnel and the community to strengthen togetherness, foster caring, and create an inclusive and socially just environment.
