Transmission of the Corona virus (Covid-19) occurs most often by hand. For this reason, it is highly recommended that people get used to washing their hands with clean water and soap as often as possible after each activity.
As an effort to anticipate the spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19), PT Pertamina (Persero) through its affiliation PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) Lumut Balai Area provides hand washing facilities which are placed at the Ulu Ogan District Office and SMPN 12 OKU. (Friday, 28/8)
In addition to providing hand washing facilities, previously PGE also provided multivitamins for school students in Ulu Ogan District.Head of Ulu Ogan Sub-district, Yan Kurniawan, expressed his gratitude for the assistance from the PGE Lumut Balai Area in preventing the spread of Covid-19.
"Thank you for the assistance from PT PGE Lumut Balai Area for their support in eradicating Covid-19 in the Ulu Ogan neighborhood." He said
On another occasion, General Manager of PGE Lumut Balai Area, Hasan Basri, said that Pertamina continues to be committed to fully supporting the government so that the problem of this outbreak can be resolved as soon as possible.
"Assistance for the sake of assistance that we seek for mutual safety and efforts to prevent the spread of exposure to Covid-19," Hasan concluded.
