On August 15, 2024, PGE signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ecolab International Indonesia for the development and marketing of the two- phase fluid flow measurement technology, Flow2Max®.
This collaboration marks an important step towards the creation of new solutions in the geothermal energy sector and other industries. The partnership between the two companies in studying the optimization, application, and performance enhancement of Flow2Max® technology signifies a significant advancement toward the development of new solutions in the geothermal energy sector and beyond. This MoU serves as a preparation for the signing of a licensing agreement to be held at the Indonesia International Geothermal Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE) on September 18-20.
Flow2Max® is a groundbreaking innovation for measuring geothermal two-phase fluid flow in real-time with reliable, accurate information. Developed by Mohamad Husni Mubarok, PhD (Husni), Manager of Production and Operational Excellence at PGE, this technology has received patent certification in the United States, Iceland, Turkey, the Philippines, New Zealand, and Indonesia.
PGE's President Director, Julfi Hadi, stated that the collaboration with Ecolab will optimize the Flow2Max® technology, expand its applications, and deliver new solutions that will add value not only to the geothermal industry but also to other industrial sectors globally. “Our partnership with Ecolab is a significant step in our efforts to broaden the use of Flow2Max®. We believe that this collaboration to introduce Flow2Max® on a larger scale worldwide will contribute substantially to enhancing operational efficiency, optimization, and productivity in the global geothermal sector and beyond,” he said.
