HULULAIS - To help improve the quality of education in Lebong District and to introduce Geothermal from an early age, the PGE Hululais Project held a socialization program and helped build the field of 83 Lebong Public Elementary School located in Mubai Village, South Lebong District. Tuesday (7/1/2020).
PGE's Senior Engineering Supervisor, Budi Wigiarto, representing the PGE Project Manager for the Hululais Project, said that this activity was an effort to introduce geothermal potential in Lebong District and as a form of PGE Hululais Project's concern to the community, especially in the field of education.
"The geothermal potential in Lebong Regency is extraordinary, therefore it must be introduced and known by the Lebong community, including starting from early childhood. We also ask for prayer and support from all parties so that the company's activities run smoothly so that it will have a positive impact on acceleration development and welfare of the Lebong community, "he said.
Supporting educational activities and forms of care, the PGE Hululais Project officially also handed over Rp18,060,000 in school field assistance to 83 Lebong Public Elementary School.
Rita Oktavia, SPd, as the Principal of SD Negeri 83 Lebong expressed his gratitude for getting attention and assistance from the PGE Hululais Project.
"The geothermal socialization program undertaken by the PGE Hululais Project is very good, useful, and can motivate our students to study hard and work hard to achieve their goals, as well as for the field assistance provided from the PGE Hululais Project we are also very thank you because it has been long dreamed of by students here, "he said.
On the same occasion the community leader of Mubai Village, Nurul Abdi, appreciated the concern of the PGE Hululais Project and thanked for the field assistance provided.
"We are very grateful for this field assistance, not only benefiting students of SD Negeri 83 Lebong, which numbered 150 students, but also very useful for the Mubai community because we can also use this field to carry out Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha prayers every year. "It is important to know before this assistance, the field conditions are very worrying because during the rainy season the field becomes muddy and cannot be utilized," he stressed.
The PGE Project Hululais Project socialization and inauguration of the school field were also attended byRepresentative of the Lebong Regency Education Agency, Element Tripika Lebong Selatan District, Mubai Village Chief, RW / RT RW Mubai Village, alumni represented by Wilyan Bahtiar who is also a member of Lebong DPRD, and all guardians of 83 Lebong Public Elementary School students.
PGE Hululais Project is a geothermal generation project located in the Hululais WKP, Bengkulu Province. This project has a production capacity of 2 x 55 MW. The status of the Hululais project is currently in the stage of drilling and production testing.
