Tanggamus, February 2, 2026 - PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO) officially opened a series of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Month activities with the theme "Strengthening Leadership Accountability and Worker Compliance in Building an Inclusive, Collaborative, and Sustainable Pertamina HSSE Culture" in Ulubelu on Monday (January 26, 2026). The activities, centered in the PGE Ulubelu Area, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province, served as a momentum to affirm the company's commitment that occupational safety and health are a top priority in all of its operational activities.
The opening of the Occupational Safety and Health Month was attended by PGE management, including PGE Independent Commissioner Mohammad Firmansyah, PGE Director of Operations Andi Joko Nugroho, PGE Vice President of HSSE Achmad S. Fadly, PGE Vice President of Project Development Fandi Indra B., PGE General Manager of the Ulubelu Area Edy Sudarmadi, along with officers, workers, and partners in the Ulubelu Area.
In his remarks, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk's Director of Operations Andi Joko Nugroho emphasized the importance of implementing safety aspects in every job across all PGE work areas.
"Safety is our shared responsibility. No job is too important to sacrifice safety. I urge all PGE employees, including our fellow contractors, to always comply with OHS regulations and to have the courage to stop work if conditions are deemed unsafe," Andi emphasized.
On the same occasion, Achmad S. Fadly, Vice President of HSSE at PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk, introduced the new HSSE visual identity or logo that will be implemented in the PGE Ulubelu Area. This is part of an effort to strengthen the OHS culture in the workplace.
"The PGE HSSE logo, 'Safety Starts with Me,' is not just a symbol, but a reminder that every individual has a vital role in maintaining safety. We want OHS to become a daily habit embedded in every work activity, not just commemorated during OHS Month," said Achmad S. Fadly, Vice President of HSSE at PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk.
The series of OHS Month opening activities then continued with the presentation of awards for Occupational Safety Observation (PEKA) reporting to workers and partners in several categories. This appreciation is given as a token of appreciation for their concern and active participation in identifying potential hazards and preventing workplace accidents.
Edy Sudarmadi, General Manager of the PGE Ulubelu Area, emphasized that OHS implementation must be carried out consistently and become part of daily work behavior.
"We are committed to ensuring that every operational activity is carried out with safety as a priority. OHS must be an inherent work behavior, understood, and consistently implemented by all workers and partners in the PGE Ulubelu Area," said Edy Sudarmadi.
Through this OHS Month, PGE reaffirms its commitment that occupational safety and health must become a culture embedded in every operational activity, not simply an obligation. Furthermore, this commemoration is expected to further strengthen the awareness, concern, and active participation of all workers and contractor partners in implementing OHS principles consistently and sustainably.
With the full support of management and the involvement of all PGE employees, OHS aspects are expected to foster a safe, healthy, and productive work environment, thereby supporting the Company's reliable and sustainable operations.
