Ahmad Yani
President Director
In January 2026, Ahmad Yani was appointed President Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. He holds a Master's degree in Physics - Geothermal Exploration from the University of Indonesia and a Bachelor of Engineering - Petroleum Engineering from the Islamic University of Riau (UIR).
He has over 20 years of work experience at PT Pertamina, with exposure to a wide range of work assignments, from upstream to downstream, in the geothermal industry, across various PGE fields and the Head Office. Previously, he served as Director of Operations at PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. He has worked in three skill groups: reservoir engineering (exploration and exploitation), production operations (steam field and geothermal power plant), and geothermal drilling.
Edwil Suzandi
Director Exploration & Development
In May 2024, Edwil Suzandi was appointed as Director of Exploration and Development of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. He holds a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Trisakti University.
Previously, he held various important positions in Upstream Subhoding, both at Pertamina Hulu Rokan, Pertamina Hulu Energi, and also at Pertamina EP. His experience in the field of energy business development will provide insight and direction for PGE to play an active role in providing green energy for a better future.

Andi Joko Nugroho
Director Operation
In January 2026, Andi Joko Wibowo was appointed Director of Operations at PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. He holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iceland, Reykjavik, Iceland, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), Surabaya.
He has over 20 years of work experience at PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk, holding various positions ranging from Area Manager in the Karaha Area to General Manager in the Ulubelu Area, and most recently served as Vice President of Operations & Engineering.
Yurizki Rio
Director Of Finance
In February 2024, Yurizki Rio was appointed as Finance Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. He holds a Master's degree in Finance from Prasetiya Mulya Business School University and a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Has 15 years of work experience in the financial sector with various skills including; Mergers & Acquisitions, Investment, Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Modeling, and Project Management.
Commissioner
Gigih Udi Atmo
The main commissioner
Gigih Udi Atmo was appointed as Main Commissioner of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk in August 2025. He earned a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from UGM, then he earned a Master's degree in Engineering Project Management at the University of Melbourne - Australia and a Doctorate in Infrastructure Engineering at the same place.
He has extensive experience in the field of renewable energy and electricity. He currently serves as Director of Geothermal at the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE).
John Anis
Commissioner
John Anis was appointed Commissioner of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk in May 2024. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology.
Has an important role in realizing Indonesia's energy transition by building a renewable energy portfolio in the future as well as extensive experience in the Upstream sector. Currently he serves as President Director at PT Pertamina Power Indonesia and previously served as President Director at Pertamina Hulu Indonesia and also Pertamina Internasional EP.
Abdulla Zayed
Commisioner
In August 2025, Abdulla Zayed was appointed as Commissioner of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. He holds a Bachelors in Engineering/Industrial Management from the UAE Higher Colleges of Technology and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the UAE Higher Colleges of Technology.
Currently he serves as Director, Development & Investment (Asia & Africa) at Masdar, as well as Chief Executive Officer at MW Energy. Apart from that, he previously served as Government Budget Section Head at Abu Dhabi General Secretariat of the Executive Council and also Renewable Energy Financial and Commercial Analyst at Masdar.
Abdul Musawir Yahya
independent Commissioner
Abdul Musyawir Yahya was appointed as Commissioner of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk in July 2024. He earned his Masters degree in Islamic Studies from the University of Muhammadyah Malang - Indonesia and Bachelor's degree in Islamic Law from the same place.
He has extensive organizational experience in Indonesia. He was also the Director of Maharaya Indonesia.
Mohammad Firmansyah

Mohammad Firmansyah was appointed as an Independent Commissioner of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk on August 20, 2025. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Sriwijaya University in 1999.
He currently works as a Systems Analyst at PT Fujitsu Indonesia.
