Julfi Hadi
President Director
Since June 2023, Julfi Hadi has been appointed President and Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk in an effort to become a world-class green energy company with the largest installed geothermal capacity in the world. He holds a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Texas, El Paso, USA, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Texas, El Paso, USA.
More than 35 years of experience in the geothermal sectors. Began his career as a geologist at Amoseas Indonesia. In carrying out his master's education, he succeeded in obtaining an award from the Geological Society of America South Central Section for his thesis work. He has experience in several geothermal projects, such as Wayang Windu Unit-2, 110 MW, and Darajat Unit-3, 110 MW.
Edwil Suzandi
Director Exploration & Development
In May 2024, Edwil Suzandi was appointed as Director of Exploration and Development of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. He holds a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Trisakti University.
Previously, he held various important positions in Upstream Subhoding, both at Pertamina Hulu Rokan, Pertamina Hulu Energi, and also at Pertamina EP. His experience in the field of energy business development will provide insight and direction for PGE to play an active role in providing green energy for a better future.
Ahmad Yani
Director Operation
In June 2023, Ahmad Yani was appointed Operations Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. He holds a Master's degree in Physics (Geothermal Exploration) from the University of Indonesia and a Bachelor of Engineering (Petroleum Engineering) from the University of Indonesia.
Has 20 years of work experience at PT. Pertamina with various exposures to complete work assignments starting from upstream to downstream in the geothermal industry in various fields in the PGE Area to the Head Office. The three skill groups that have been undertaken are reservoir engineering (exploration and exploitation), production operations (steam field and PLTP side), and geothermal drilling (drilling).
Yurizki Rio
Director Of Finance
In February 2024, Yurizki Rio was appointed as Finance Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. He holds a Master's degree in Finance from Prasetiya Mulya Business School University and a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Has 15 years of work experience in the financial sector with various skills including; Mergers & Acquisitions, Investment, Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Modeling, and Project Management.

Sarman Simanjorang
President Commissioner / Independent Commissioner
Sarman Simanjorang was appointed as the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk on 23 October 2020 to lead the Board of Commissioners in supervising and providing advice to the management of the company and ensuring the implementation of good corporate governance. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from STIAMI Jakarta and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from STIE Adhy Niaga.
Prior to being appointed as President Commissioner, the APKASI Executive Director held various important positions in Kadin Indonesia and DKI Jakarta. In addition, he was actively involved in several business associations in Indonesia, such as Apindo and HIPPI. His extensive experiences and activities in various industries and organizations will build a strong and constructive monitoring and supervisory function in PGE.
Abdulla Zayed
Independent Commisioner
In May 2024, Abdulla Zayed was appointed as Independent Commissioner of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. He holds a Bachelors in Engineering/Industrial Management from the UAE Higher Colleges of Technology and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the UAE Higher Colleges of Technology.
Currently he serves as Director, Development & Investment (Asia & Africa) at Masdar, as well as Chief Executive Officer at MW Energy. Apart from that, he previously served as Government Budget Section Head at Abu Dhabi General Secretariat of the Executive Council and also Renewable Energy Financial and Commercial Analyst at Masdar.
John Anis
Commissioner
John Anis was appointed Commissioner of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk in May 2024. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology.
Has an important role in realizing Indonesia's energy transition by building a renewable energy portfolio in the future as well as extensive experience in the Upstream sector. Currently he serves as President Director at PT Pertamina Power Indonesia and previously served as President Director at Pertamina Hulu Indonesia and also Pertamina Internasional EP.
Gigih Udi Atmo
Commissioner
Gigih Udi Atmo was appointed as Commissioner of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk in July 2024. He earned a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from UGM, then he earned a Master's degree in Engineering Project Management at the University of Melbourne - Australia and a Doctorate in Infrastructure Engineering at the same place.
He has extensive experience in the field of renewable energy and electricity. He currently serves as Director of Geothermal at the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE).
Abdul Musawir Yahya
independent Commissioner
Abdul Musyawir Yahya was appointed as Commissioner of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk in July 2024. He earned his Masters degree in Islamic Studies from the University of Muhammadyah Malang - Indonesia and Bachelor's degree in Islamic Law from the same place.
He has extensive organizational experience in Indonesia. He was also the Director of Maharaya Indonesia.
