Optimizing geothermal potential as a clean energy source is believed to have a bright future in Indonesia. PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO) as one of the geothermal industry players is considered to have made a positive contribution to supporting the availability of clean energy to the Indonesian people.

Nelwin expressed his views after PGE received a high rating appreciation with the Leadership A predicate at the 2023 ESG Disclosure Transparency Awards which was held at the Thamrin 9 Hotel in Jakarta, Wednesday (29/11/2023). This award is an activity organized by InvestorTrust, an economic data and news portal, in collaboration with the Bumi Global Karbon Foundation (BGK Foundation).
Nelwin said that future business cannot be separated from how industry players run their business in a sustainable and transparent manner. "Of course we are very grateful for this award from InvestorTrust. This award not only reflects PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk's dedication to sustainability, but also confirms our position as a leader in the transparency of environmentally, socially and corporate governance responsible business practices, " he said.
Nelwin further said that this appreciation inspired the Company to continue to grow in the future. "This award is a trigger for us to continue providing access to reliable and affordable clean energy for all Indonesian people," concluded Nelwin.
The 2023 ESG Disclosure Transparency Awards are an award based on the ranking and assessment of ESG factors in the Sustainability Report (SR).
