Pertamina Geothermal Energy Wins Best Of The Best and 11 Awards 2020 Nusantara CSR Awards

Jakarta, 23 October 2020 - As a form of company commitment in carrying out Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and in restoring Indonesia's economy due to the Covid-19 pandemic, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) won Best Of The Best Nusantara CSR Awards 2020 Corona Handling Warriors and eleven Nusantara CSR Awards 2020, on Thursday (22/10)

At the Nusantara Awards 2020, PGE Kamojang Area won awards for 10 categories and Lahendong Area 1 Category from La Tofi School of CSR.

The award categories in question are the Category of Education Quality Improvement, Community Economic Empowerment, Health Quality Improvement, Tourism Village Development, Community Involvement in Waste Management, Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Program Integration for Broad Impact, Inspirational Leaders for CSR Practices, Covid19 Economic Charity Assistance, and Community Economic Recovery Program.

General Manager of PGE Kamojang Area, Andi Joko Nugroho and expressed his appreciation for the 2020 Nusantara CSR Awards for the award that had been given."Thank you for the awarding of the 2020 Nusantara CSR Awards and PGE is also focused on empowering the community not only through charity activities, but also encouraging community independence through sustainable programs," said Andi.

In his presentation Andi also conveyed the PGE Kamojang Area CSR innovation which was responsive to the Covid-19 pandemic disaster for the community around the company's operating area.

PGE currently manages 14 Work Areas with a total installed capacity of 672 MW (Own Operation) and 1,205 MW (Joint Operation) and has achieved PROPER Gold 9 times in a row since 2011.
