PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO) Ulubelu Area received another international award at the Annual Global CSR & ESG Summit and Awards 2023. Through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the health sector Kamasetra (Independent, Healthy, and Prosperous Families) Empowerment of Woman Award category. The CSR program received a Platinum award and was received in Da Nang City Vietnam (29/8).
Ulubelu Area PGE Business Support Manager Rawan Mirza, who received the award, said that this achievement is an international recognition of the company's sustainability practices, especially in the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) aspects.
"This award is a tangible manifestation of PGE Ulubelu Area's consistency in implementing ESG aspects through community empowerment," he said.
The application of ESG aspects in business practices is a demand for every company to support its business sustainability efforts. He also added that the award for the company's good practices is not the ultimate goal but a benchmark for consistently maintaining harmonious relationships with all stakeholders.
The Kamasetra program has successfully responded to the policies of the Indonesian and World governments in an effort to reduce the prevalence of stunting cases in toddlers. Through the activities of the Healthy Kitchen, Kamasetra Application, and Waste Bank, the problem of stunting can slowly be resolved. This is shown by the gradual decrease in the number of stunted toddlers in Ulubelu District, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province.
