PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO), part of the Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (PNRE) Subholding, is always committed to supporting various innovation programmes by holding the 2023 GEOVATION (Geothermal Innovation & Competition) Awards, which are a Continuous Improvement Programme Presentation Forum ), and and PNRE Subholding Knowledge Sharing with the theme "Grow By Accelerating Value Creation," which will be held from October 30 to November 1, 2023, at Grha Pertamina and Ballroom Aryaduta Jakarta.
A total of 72 best clusters took part in the GEOVATION 2023 Forum offline, consisting of 66 best CIP teams from PT PGE Tbk and 6 representative teams from PT PPI, with a team distribution of 29 functional team clusters (FT-Prove), 33 project collaboration clusters (PC-Prove), 8 individual clusters (I-Prove), and 2 replication clusters (RT-Prove).
At this event, 33 Gugus managed to get the gold title, 37 Gugus managed to get the silver prediction, and 2 Gugus managed to get the bronze prediction, with a total real value creation generated in 2023 (January–October) of IDR 240.65 billion, and the projection is that until the end of 2023 (November–December), there will be an additional IDR 5.75 billion.
PGE President and Director, Julfi Hadi, expressed his highest appreciation to all PNRE Quality People who have created innovations and improvements and hopes to support the achievement of the company's strategic targets in his speech.
"With the theme Grow By Accelerating Value Creation, this is the theme chosen considering that PGE is developing and is aimed at accelerating projects, increasing installed capacity by 1 GW in the next two years for the energy transition and decarbonisation, as well as supporting Net Zero Emission (NZE) 2060," said Julfi.
