PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) succeeded in winning the Patra Adikriya Bhumi Utama award from PT Pertamina (Persero) for its achievements in implementing Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) in 2023. This achievement shows PGE's commitment to implementing operational excellence as a world-class green energy company.
This award was presented by Deputy Main Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Wiko Migantoro at the peak event of the 2024 Pertamina K3 Month Closing at Refinery Unit (RU) III Plaju, South Sumatra, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. The President Director of PT Geothermal Energy Tbk, Julfi Hadi, also expressed his pride in the impressive achievements achieved by PGE.
"This achievement is truly encouraging and is the result of the implementation of a comprehensive HSSE management system at PGE. As part of its efforts to achieve operational excellence in all aspects, PGE consistently applies aspects of safety, health, security, and environmental compliance to all its operations. This award deserves to be gratefully received by all PGE people," said Julfi.
As is known, the assessment was carried out based on the 2023 HSSE aspect performance selection in all business units in the Pertamina Group. On this occasion, PGE Ulubelu Area managed to achieve the main rank, while PGE Kamojang Area and PGE Lahendong Area received the middle rank.
According to Julfi, it is important to maintain commitment to implementing the HSSE programme to support better achievements in the future.
"All of these achievements cannot be separated from the support of all parties at PGE, stakeholders, and the community. Hopefully production operational activities will run safely and smoothly, and the positive synergy that has been well established so far can be maintained and improved in the future," said Julfi.
The Patra Adikriya Bhumi Award is an award in the HSSE sector that aims to increase awareness, concern, active role, and motivation of all Pertamina Operational Units and Subsidiaries in implementing company instructions, commitments, and targets in order to realise HSSE Excellence.
