The implementation time for the Turn Around for Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) is 9 days shorter for Unit-4 and 6 days shorter for Unit-5 than the previously scheduled time.
Initially the Unit-4 PLTP was scheduled to do a Turn Around for 28 days, while in reality it could be completed for 18 days, 17 hours, and 29 minutes, while the Unit-5 PLTP was originally scheduled for 25 days, in the first stage it was successfully completed for 9 days, 4 hours and 11 minutes, and the second stage was completed over 9 days, 20 hours, and 47 minutes.
The implementation of these activities also always takes into account the HSSE aspects including the implementation of the COVID-19 protocol.
General Manager of Kamojang Area, Dradjat Budi Hartanto said that the implementation of the Turn Around was running smoothly, safely, and successfully completed faster than the set time target, so that it will be the closing of 2020 and the opening of 2021 which is quite encouraging for the Kamojang Area.
"The implementation of the Turn Around is carried out with strict HSSE management and COVID-19 mitigation, one of which is by making early mitigation efforts in the form of setting a location entry protocol by delivering a non-reactive rapid test max 3 days before arriving, screening at the PGE Kamojang area medical function. induction, and after that they are allowed to enter the location, "said Dradjat.
"The PGE Kamojang Area itself has implemented routine daily check-ups before work, including body temperature checks, tension checks and surveillance through the COVID Ranger," added Dradjat.
Good synergy between the PGE team and contractors is the key to the successful implementation of Turn Around PLTP Unit 4 and Unit 5 in the Kamojang Area of PGE during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The PGE Kamojang Area develops clean geothermal energy with an installed capacity of 235 MW, which is channeled to the Java - Bali Electricity Transmission Network, which contributes to lighting up around 260 thousand houses.
