For the local community, this coffee is more than just an agricultural product;
it is a heritage that continues to be preserved and developed. Through an empowerment program,
coffee farmers partnered with PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk Lumut Balai Area have gained greater confidence in managing cultivation from upstream to downstream. Support in the form of roasting machines, packaging equipment, modern branding, as well as barista, roasting, and marketing training in 2024 has paved the way for Semende coffee to present itself more professionally and earn a place in the hearts of coffee lovers across regions.
